Mobile App Allows Users to Create, Share and Play Music on TouchTunes' Digital Jukebox Network
New York, NY (July 26, 2011) - TouchTunes Interactive Networks, the largest interactive out-of-home entertainment network in North America, today announced the completion of the myTouchTunes mobile app rollout to 33,000 of its digital jukebox locations across North America. The myTouchTunes mobile app brings the TouchTunes experience into the wider world of social experiences via integrations with Facebook, Twitter and Foursquare, and is also the only smart phone app that allows consumers to control a jukebox from their phone. The expansion of the mobile app across the TouchTunes network signifies TouchTunes' continued focus and participation in expanding the in-venue music experience and bringing that experience to more users through mobile devices.
The myTouchTunes mobile app for the iPhone and Android allows users to create playlists, share them with friends and play music on any of the 33,000 myTouchTunes enabled Jukebox, all without leaving their seat. The app, which is available via the iTunes store, Verizon Wireless V CAST App Store and the Android Market, also lets users find myTouchTunes enabled locations, search the TouchTunes music catalog, connect with other myTouchTunes members and browse other member playlists.
Named "One of the Top 15 Apps that will matter in 2011" by PC World Magazine, myTouchTunes mobile users also benefit from other great myTouchTunes features including myRewards-the myTouchTunes loyalty rewards program that allows users to earn free jukebox music plays and other rewards. Additionally, myTouchTunes users can opt-in to automatically post and tweet Jukebox plays to friends on Facebook and Twitter and check in to Foursquare with each myTouchTunes login.
